Our client is a leader in developing, designing and manufacturing air intake systems for the automotive industry. International in scope, they have over 7,500 employees in 16 countries including 250 in their Montreal plant.
A physical reorganization of several areas of the plant is planned.
Reporting to the Director of manufacturing engineering, the project manager must fulfill this mandate -
Tasks:
• Validate the already proposed solutions;
• Propose new solutions with respect to the allocation of space according to the diverse needs of internal customers (production, logistics, engineering, quality);
• Oversee the work in progress and the moving of machinery.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Mechanical or Industrial Engineering;
• 10 years of experience in industrial project management;
• Excellent communication skills and sense of collaboration;
• Bilingual English/French;
• Knowledge of AutoCad.
You must be a seasoned manager and used to working with minimal supervision.
Mechanical Sales Applications Engineer URGENT - ref.18960AC
Our client, a manufacturer of custom-designed industrial capital equipment located in
Laval is looking urgently for a Mechanical Sales Applications Engineer who will help to win projects for the
team through keen engineering skills and a winning attitude.
You will review customer specs, select appropriate equipment, and draft sales drawings in Solidworks. You
will estimate engineering, project management sourcing and production costs, perform project risk analysis,
and prepare the preliminary project timeline. You will verify the capacity of the various manufacturing plants, review
commercial requirements, prepare commercial and technical proposals, support the sales force during customer
negotiations, transfer bid file to project execution team. perform customer presentations and help in
business development. Possibility of 10% travel eventually.
Requirements:
B.Eng Mechanical with at least 2 years of pertinent hands-on industrial experience. AutoCad or Solidworks.
There will be frequent communication with U.S.-based clients so bilingualism is essential. Preferred
experience is: hands-on shop experience, knowledge of PowerPoint, related field experience with steel
transformation, welding, corrosion protection of steels, structural steel design, instrumentation and
knowledge of electrical codes. You must be focussed, dynamic, client-oriented, able to think outside the
box, enjoy challenges, have a can-do spirit, be able to handle pressure and deadlines, be team-oriented, flexible, autonomous, hands-on and have strong communication skills.
Salary: $48K - $65K plus potential for 3 types of bonus: 1- individual performance, 2- order intake from
customers, 3- gross margin of profit. Flextime available.
Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer - ref.18893AC
The candidate will design new machines, upgrade/improve existing machines, design layouts and transition pieces based on customer orders; managing customer expectations as well as application reviews.
Day-to-day responsibilities involve machine design, drafting, prototyping and managing customer orders.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience acting as a mechanical engineer/designer in a company designing automated machines. Must have strong project management skills as well as strong understanding of mechanical principals.
Our client is looking for a senior person that could be added to their group to act as a mature worker with real work experience.
Must be accountable and take responsibility for any job given to him/her. 3D CAD knowledge a must, Pro-E is a plus.

Mechanical Engineering Supervisor - ref.18872AC
The day-to-day responsibilities: delegate mechanical jobs and oversee the
quality and productivity of the staff. Reduction of mistakes and overall improvement of documentation,
history, creative design, BOM and machine design as well as designing, drafting and managing customer orders.
Requirements:
The person must have a minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role supervising other
mechanical designers or engineers. This person must have superior design skills as well as creativeness for conceptual
mechanical development. Project management skills are a bonus as this person would have to supervise the quality
and integrity of 5 other mechanical designers/engineers while also designing and managing mechanical projects
himself/herself. Experience with automated machinery is a must and packaging machinery is a plus. This person must
be extremely disciplined and thorough. 3D CAD knowledge is a must, Pro-E is a plus.

Civil Engineer - ref.18832AC
Our client is a well respected heavy earth moving and civil construction company located in Labrador. They are presently looking for an experienced Civil Engineer.
You will interact with project staff and clients, playing a vital role in the operations. You will offer technical support and project management skills, ensuring the company continues
to offer quality workmanship.
Specific responsibilities include: Promoting a safe and healthy work environment. Preparing costs analysis
and project cost controls. Project tendering and estimating. Preparing and reviewing budgets. Coordinating client meetings and monthly billings. Scheduling project staff
and equipment resources. Reviewing and negotiating change orders. Ensuring conformance to quality management systems. Managing project deliverables. Preparing Expressions of Interest and Pre-Qualifications.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, 5 of pertinent civil engineering experience including on-site/field experience with at least 3 years of Project Management experience. In addition, a thorough knowledge of concrete structures, hydro development, earthmoving and grading is required. Preferable but not essential, to be familiar with the Newfoundland & Labrador Safety Act and Regulations. A keen appreciation for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. The ability to multitask and prioritize, along with being detail oriented and accurate, having a strong work ethic, strong organizational skills and personal initiative are mandatory.
Languages: English essential spoken and written, French is an asset.
Salary: $108K - $135K. Apart from standard fringe benefits, the company pays travel expenses, provides
accommodations, and offers meal allowances at $35 per day. Rotation 25 days on, 10 days off.

Electronics Programmer - ref.18739CL
The Programmer-DDC Cards is responsible for the design of control programs for
ventilation units and provides technical support for electronic DDC cards.
The main responsibilities are:
• Work closely with the senior Programmer-DDC Cards;
• Develop programatically operation sequences for ventilation units via electronic DDC (Direct
Digital Controller) cards;
• Provides support to service personnel as well as factory technicians;
• Make modifications and improvements to existing control sequences;
• Participate in the design of new electrical schemas for industrial ventilation;
• Perform factory tests to validate the status of each program.
Essential Experience: Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, AutoCad. Assets: Knowledge of programming
languages such as GCL, C++, VB or other relevant languages, knowledge of programming tools such as Automated
Logic Suite, ORCAview, + FX Loader or other relevant programming tools. Years of experience: 2 to 3 years in a
similar position.
Industry: Energy recovery equipment (commercial ventilation). Location : Drummondville region.
