Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct studies, provide expertise and implementations of electrical building projects involving data centers;

• Meet and propose solutions to different clients, execute the bids and track performance of work.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Building Engineering and over 10 years of experience in project design in the context of consulting engineering;
• Two or more years of experience with projects and/or operations of electrical systems in data centers or in industry;
• Member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);

Building Mechanics Engineer (HVAC) - ref.19551XE

Project Estimating (60%):
• Analysis and assimilation of plans, drawings and specifications for Building Systems projects;
• Estimate construction and project delivery costs;

Project Managerment (40%)

Reporting to the Technical & Service Manager, the major challenges are:
Supporting sales locations with their customer projects and solving after market issues. Design pump accessories, mixers, etc., following customer’s specification and existing standards. Supply design expertise in regards to finding proper solutions for problems. Assist wtih the part numbering system, i.e. see that all parts are properly selected, documented and improved. Make sure that technical product information in catalogues or intranet/internet is accurate, complete and practical to the end users. Provide internal after sales support on mechanical issues to Head Office and in sales locations across Canada. Train both service personnel and customer’s maintenance and operator personnel in pump technology and maintenance. Requirements:
You have 3 to 5 years of successful experience in mechanical design with knowledge of code (ANSI, ASTM, etc), fabrication processes, tolerances system and material characteristics of the pump industry. Furthermore, you have earned a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and are able to use AutoCad. A practical and logical sense serves you in developing innovative solutions to mechanical problems.

• Participate in meetings to plan strategies for operation, trouble-shooting and solving problems related to operations;
• Coordinate scheduled repair stops and stops for the total unit;
• Manage pending maintenance jobs list with the support of the maintenance department;
• Provide a maintenance schedule for all stops with details of equipment available for repairs and equipment available for production;
• Coordinate all activities of cleaning subcontractors;
• Ensure that lockout procedures and work procedures are maintained and used properly;
• Coordinating tasks related to stops (cleaning, preparation, lockout equipment, etc.);
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety and take appropriate action to correct non-conformities as soon as possible;
• Tour the area daily to ensure the proper working of equipment and production and that the checklists and records are properly filled;
