Functions:
• Coordinates, reconciles and performs analysis of month end physical inventories;
• Updates the inventories of raw material, work in progress, finished goods and supplies in MRP system;
• Prepares and places orders according to MRP requirements;
• Coordinates deliveries and requirements with sub-contractors;
• Processes receipts of material and addresses back orders or short shipments;
• Meets with suppliers and potential suppliers;
• Performs analysis of quotations (terms, lead-times, pricing etc.);

Our client, located in the area west of Montreal, is a major manufacturer of plastic containers. They are looking for a Process Technician available to work on
NIGHT OR EVENING SHIFT. Status: Permanent full time position.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to production by making the necessary adjustments
to production machines;
• Investigate the causes of stoppages and/or quality problems and implement practical solutions to achieve the desired production quality;
• Follow up with various departments to verify the results of adjustments and solutions.
The processes are injection molding, blow molding, injection blow molding, stretch blow molding.
Requirements:
• DEP or DEC in Plastics or equivalent experience or Attestation of Vocational Specialization (AVS) with relevant experience;
• 1 to 2 years of job-related experience;
• Strong aptitude for technical tasks;

Mechanical Designer-Drafter, INVENTOR - ref.18874AC
Our client, situated in the West Island of Montreal, is a manufacturer of cutting edge automated machinery serving the pulp and paper industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Technologist or Engineer to perform the design and drafting using INVENTOR, of their equipment.
Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will design and draft details, assembly and installation drawings,
prepare the Bills of Material (BOM), and take measurements in the field. On occasion, you may perform installations at customer mills. Depending on experience (and they are very flexible on this), you may design the equipment, coordinate projects, assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitor the projects, find solutions to problems, and give final approval to drawings. Support the shop team.
Again depending on experience (flexible from junior to senior), you may train junior and intermediate drafters, participate in trade shows or exhibitions. As this may imply worldwide travel, you should have no criminal record, have a valid passport and driver's license and be free to travel on occasion, primarily to the U.S. and Europe.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a designer-drafter knowing INVENTOR (or another type of 3D drafting software),
have experience in the pulp and paper industry with some projects coordination or management
experience.

The Product/Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the production unit and the quality system. He/she will develop and oversee programs for the optimal use of equipment to improve efficiency and productivity. Specifically, the position responsibilities include:
• Plan, organize, manage, monitor and evaluate production department activities and budget;
• Direct an ISO and CSA quality control system and implement production reporting methods;
• Participate in the design of new products: make recommendations on materials, selection of

• Design and develop management plans for the plant and facilities;

Requirements:

The candidate will plan the day-to-day needs of a master delivery schedule including engineering, material, fabrication and production timelines. The
candidate will ultimately bridge the gaps between each department and make sure things are moving along much faster and more efficiently. For a small company, this would be a first in this sort of position that has no history or foundation to build on. The challenge would be great for someone who is up for one.
Requirements:
The person must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role at a custom manufacturing company.
Strong communication skills, as well as a decent/strong technical background with understanding of machines and
their components. This person must have a bulldog/Sherlock Holmes, get it done no matter what the problem is attitude, as well as a curiosity
to go to the deepest level to uncover needed information. An accreditation to supply chain and planning is required, as well as real work experience in a similar role.
