As assistant to the Technical Manager, the candidate is responsible for the installation and service of Norstar and/or BCM telephone systems, as well as the installation of sound systems and background music. The candidate offers good service and ensures customer needs are met.
Tasks:
• Installs, programs and provides service  for Norstar, BCM and Avaya IP Office and Panasonic telephone systems;
• Installs and provides service for sound systems;
• Installs telephone and network wiring, as needed;
• Installs Sol Maestro and Sol Messenger software;
• Works closely with Customer Service;
• May be required to participate in special projects;
• Follows company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• 5 years of relevant experience, minimum (BCM, Norstar, Avaya IP Office or Panasonic);
• Knowledge and experience in telephony and sound;
• Certification Nortel, Avaya and/or Panasonic (an asset);
• Valid driver's license;
• Bilingual;
• Good presentation, interpersonal skills and professionalism;
• Able to work as a team, quick learner, autonomous.
Permanent position.
Job is on the road, rotating emergency service paid, vehicle provided for travel during work hours.
Salary: between $18 and $25 per hour.
