Our client, located in Anjou, is currently looking for a Fitter to install vehicle
service equipment. This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week and the salary is between $16 and $20 per
hours, plus benefits and annual bonus, clothing supplied after three months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install equipment on trucks, (aerial, hydraulics, bucket, etc.);
• Welding, electricial, install hydraulic systems.
Requirements:
• Related industry training;
• Minimum 3 years experience;
• Excellent knowledge in hydraulics, electrical and/or mechanical repair of trucks and truck equipment;
• Ability to read plans and sketches;
• Teamwork and ability to work as a team, flexibility, work ethic.
Mechanic - ref.18805CL
Our client, located in Pointe-Claire, is currently seeking a Mechanic for their day
shift. The is a permanent position. The salary is $21.45 initially and after three months $23.45, the work
week is 40 hours.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, instruction manuals, specifications and diagrams;
• Install, modify and maintain equipment in the plant, including all
manufacturing service equipment;
• Diagnose anomalies and defects in the operation of pneumatic and hydraulic lifts;
• Implement as needed machining operations such as filing, drilling, tapping, milling, turning and
simple milling;
• Change or replace broken machine parts and equipment in accordance with
manufacturer instructions;
• Cut and occasionally connect pipes;
• Gather required materials and conduct simple arc or gas welding;
• Move machinery as needed;
• Complete work tickets on maintenance and repairs;
• Prepare requisitions for materials and equipment for assigned tasks, as required.
Requirements:
• Degree as industrial Mechanic or more;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as industrial mechanic;
• Spoken French;
• Extensive knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, welding, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively with various internal and external
representatives;
• Responsible, independent and organized.
Mechanic - ref.18921GK
Our client, located in the west of Montreal, is an important manufacturer of plastic containers. They are looking for a mechanic available for work on shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Locate faults and determine their causes;
• Analysis and assembly, disassembly, adjustment and maintenance of various equipment;
• Do some welding, plumbing, and machining;
• Check equipment in poor states of operation using control devices such as ammeters and voltmeter;
• Maintain the engine switches, replace the brushes and motors;
• Analyze, locate and resolve faults through programmable controllers;
• Repair and/or replace electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic
parts;
• Make sure equipment is locked when necessary;
• Participate in startup and thereafter, monitor electrical and mechanical projects.
Requirements:
• DEC in Industrial Maintenance or other relevant training;
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience;
• Electrician certificate excluding construction (C License) desirable;
• Possess good knowledge in PLC;
• Read and write in French;
• Experience in reading plans;
• Available to work on shifts.
Salary: $40K - $45K.
Electromechanic, Evening Shift - ref.18914GK
Our client is located between Granby and Sherbrooke and is one of the
largest manufacturers in North America of molded plastic products made by injection and extrusion.
Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, the Electromechanic performs the maintenance work necessary for the proper functioning of the plant:
• Troubleshoot, identify causes and make necessary repairs for problems of any complexity;
• Analyze failures and recommend corrective actions;
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment;
• Modify the equipment to meet work requirements;
• Build custom equipment;
• Monitor the inventory of spare parts, supplies, workshops;
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the department;
• Use tools and equipment safely;
• Be available at all times to handle emergencies and carry the maintenance department
pager in rotation with other electromechanics.
Requirements:
• DEP Electromechanical;
• C Licence Electricity;
• Knowledge in electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics;
• AES in Industrial Electricity (an asset);
• Experience in the field of plastics (an asset);
• At least three (3) years experience with electromechanics in a factory.
Schedule of 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday on the evening shift (4:00PM. to
12:30AM).
Status: TEMPORARY.
Salary: $ 21.85/hour.
