Manufacturing Technician (Sheet Metal)

Our client, working in metal furniture manufacturing, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician/Programmer for sheet metal products.

• Optimize machining parameters;
• Program the nesting of punched parts with TruNest;
• Validate drawings and feasibility, generate and transmit material requirements to purchasing;
• Produce and validate production drawings (dimensions, quantities, templates);
• Release orders by providing all necessary manufacturing documentation;
• 3D model simple parts and contribute to prototypes;
• Continuously improve programming and design practices.

Requirements:

• DEC in Engineering or equivalent;
• 1 to 2 years of nesting programming experience in sheet metal machining;
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling with Inventor;
• French, functional English.
