Site Supervisor Technician

Our client, an engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Site Supervisor Technician (90% site work and 10% office work).

• Monitor municipal construction sites (cities, municipalities and developers);
• Read plans and specifications, interpret them, compare them to the work, and report any discrepancies;
• Monitor each stage of the work to ensure the quality of execution by the contractor;
• Participate in site meetings;
• Encourage stakeholders to comply with workplace safety rules;
• Examine the quality of completed work to ensure that it complies with standards and prepare lists of deficiencies;
• Prepare daily reports on the progress of the work;
• Assist engineers in studies and participate in the design of municipal infrastructure projects (drainage works, roads, sewers, and aqueducts).

Requirements:

• DEC in Civil Engineering;
• At least 5 years of experience as a site supervisor technician;
• Experience in civil engineering, municipal construction, excavation, drainage, roads, sewers and aqueducts in Quebec;
• Good knowledge of standards and regulations;
• ASP construction card;
• Knowledge of AutoCAD;
• Driver's license, (mileage reimbursed);
• French, functional English.
